Stocking Explanation

Call avoidance and phone troubleshooting is the expectation from Henny Penny on all service calls, regardless of the category listing.

Stocking level explanation:

• Category A: These parts are recommended to be on the servicer’s vehicle. The Henny Penny Warranty program will typically not cover the labor and travel charges if these parts are not at the service location during the first service call.
• Category B: These parts are recommended to be stocked at the servicer’s warehouse or office. These parts should be taken to the customer location if the reported problem would require the use of the part to repair the unit. A valid explanation must be provided on the warranty claim as to why these parts were not taken on the first trip to the location in order for the Henny Penny Warranty program to consider payment for the first trip.
• Category C: These parts are only recommended to be stocked at the servicer’s warehouse/office if the servicer’s dynamic inventory system shows an increase in usage. The Henny Penny Warranty program will normally cover labor and travel charges for these items, if found to be defective on first trip, and not reported by customer.
